Brayton on Returning to Blue

Justin Brayton is excited to go blue again. No one would really be surprised by that statement. But behind every team switch, there's a story. Especially when a former rider returns after only one year away from the team. JGR Yamaha saw a tough year in 2012, gaining and losing James Stewart in less than a year and losing Davi Millsaps for most of the outdoors due to injury. With the blue bike being blamed for a majority of the difficulties faced by Yamaha teams this year, it's surprising that a top rider would willingly switch over to the bike. At least, it surprised most fans.

GuyB over at Vital MX took the chance to find out what was really going on in Brayton's head. But the interview doesn't just focus on why Brayton would go back to a bike with such a bad reputation around it. GuyB also taps into Brayton's childhood dream of riding for American Honda, what it was like and why he left the team he dreamed about being on after only one season.

"It had been a dream of mine for a long, long time, since I was really young. I always rode Hondas. To be able to live that dream is something I’m really proud of, to get to that point and to live that dream."
