King of Canada: Matt Goerke
In 2012, a Floridian by the name of Matt Goerke headed up to the "Great White North" and took the Canadians to school. Matt was an unstoppable force for the Leading Edge Kawasaki team in the Canadian MX Nationals—winning 7 of the 9 races and getting 2nd in the two races he didn't win—and he continued his Canadian reign by dominating the Montreal Supercross last weekend.
After his win in Montreal, Steve Matthes gave Matt a call to talk to him about the win and his 2012 season as whole. The two talked about the Nationals, the Montreal SX, Matt’s thoughts on the fan push for him to race at the MXoN for the US and Team USA's performance in Lommel.
