Open Mic Monster Energy Cup

The 2012 Monster Energy Cup is officially in our rear view mirror. Overall, it was an awesome night of racing, and the event is definitely turning into the massive spectacle that it was designed to be. With some riders coming back from long injury layoffs and others riding new machines, we really had no idea where many of the riders stood. After the event, we now know that Ryan Villopoto is still the man to beat, Ryan Dungey has a special skill of shifting with his hands while in the air, Justin Barcia will be a contender in his rookie year, Eli Tomac is blazing fast on a 450, Mike Alessi can still holeshot and cross-jump better than anyone, Jake Weimer and Justin Brayton are still a tick off in speed, Josh Grant seems very comfortable back together with his ex and Chad Reed still needs some time to get back up to speed.
